I love fancy sandals and flip-flops, but I just don't want to pay the crazy prices for them. So what's a girl to do in the summer? How about decorating your own?
I bought a pair of cheap slide-on sandals at the drugstore. They were cute, but I wanted to pep them up. I hot-glued a bright yellow felt square to each shoe, and then added JOY embroidered letters to the felt square (also using hot glue).
This would be a great summer project for tweens and teens, and will make them the standout star of the pool or beach!
