Live Simply, Dream Big wallhanging

I love the look of inspirational hand-lettered wall art, but I'm not the best at hand-lettering. So what's a girl to do? Cheat of course! I used Joy's beautiful selection of embroidered letters to create my own piece of inspirational "hand lettered" wall art. While Joy letters are iron-on for fabric, you can always skip the iron and glue them to just about any surface.

Supplies:

• Black 8x10 canvas (or paint a white one)
• Joy Letters - There are tons of fonts, sizes, and styles to choose from at your local craft store, so mix and match!
• Craft glue
• Acrylic craft paints

Instructions:

Arrange the letters on your canvas. Do this before you start gluing to give yourself the chance to make sure the spacing works.

Once you are happy with the letter arrangement, start gluing down the letters.

Paint flowers around your quote. Not a painter? Use stamps or collage around your quote.
