Sweet Valentine's Day Apron

Need a little sugar around Valentine's Day?  

Whether you're a chocoholic or just need a kiss and a squeeze, this easy DIY apron will bring smiles to your friends and loved ones.

You will need:

• Joy® embroidered letters:  1" white; 2 packages
• Apron:  One size fits all; red
• Wooden cupcake cut-out - Pre-painted 
• 1-1/2" pinback
• Tacky glue
• Steam iron
• ironing board 
• Pressing cloth

1.  Press the apron to remove any wrinkles then position the letters on the apron.

2.  Following manufacturer's directions on the back of the packaging, cover letters with the pressing cloth then press in place.  Turn the apron over and press once more on the back to ensure adhesion. 

3.  Glue the pin back to the back of the cupcake. Let dry thoroughly then pin the cupcake to the apron as shown.

Designer tip:  There are many pre-painted wooden cut-outs to choose from. Pick your favorite to embellish an apron with your favorite saying! 

Look for Joy® iron-on, embroidered letters, letter sheets and floral appliqués at 

your favorite craft stores!
