Holiday Door Hanger

Create a fun little holiday hanger to hang on a door knob... Your Christmas elves will love it!

You will need:

• Joy® Iron-on Embroidered Letter sheet - Red
• Joy® Iron-on Embroidered Heart
• canvas and burlap banner pieces
• Crop-a-Dile® eyelet and snap punch
• eyelets
• ribbon
• fabric adhesive
• fabric marker - red

1. Glue the banner pieces together. Punch the holes then set the eyelets using a hole punch and eyelet setter. Crop-A-Dile shown here.

2.  Position the letters on the banner. Place the "A" at the center then the other letters on either side.  Use a ruler to keep them straight; a clear, quilt ruler works well if you have one on hand.  Cover the letters with a pressing cloth then, referring to directions on the back of the letter sheet, iron the letters in place. 

3.  Add faux stitching around the edge of the banner with a red marker.  Knot one end of the ribbon then thread the opposite end thru one hole at the top of the banner, front to back. Push the opposite end thru the hole on the other side from back to front. Making sure the loop is long enough to go over the door knob, knot the end to secure.
