Harvest Crate

It's time to bring in the harvest.  Display it in this easy-to-decorate crate.

You will need:

• Joy® embroidered letters - 1" red block letters used here
• Small wooden crate
• Gray paint
• Decorative nails
• Tacky glue
• Paintbrush, water, sandpaper, hammer, heat gun

1. Paint crate with a wash of gray paint.  Let dry then sand the edges for a distressed look.

2. Arrange letters on front of crate then glue in place with a small amount of tacky glue.  Use a heat gun to heat letters to melt the adhesive backing of the letters for a permanent seal.

3. Hammer decorative nails on the front of the crate at each side. 

4. Distress nails and edges of letters with paint.
