Garden Apron for Mother's Day

If your mother has a green thumb then this pretty and practical garden apron will be a welcome gift for Mother's Day!

You will need:
  • Joy® Iron-On Baby Monogram Letters - pink
  • Joy® Iron-On Embroidered Letter Sheet- 1" white
  • Canvas Apron from Ikea
  • Marvy Uchida Marker - Forest Green
  • Flower buttons

Instructions:

1. Press the apron to remove any wrinkles then peel and position the 1" white letters.
2. Color the letters with a marker.

3. Peel the pink Baby Monogram letters from the backing and lightly place them so that just the bottom edge of each letter rests on a ruler.

4. Once the words are complete, move the ruler into position and hold the tops of the letters in place as you slip the ruler down and away.

5. Cover with a press cloth and heat set the letters using the directions on the package.

6. Scatter flower buttons as desired and sew into place. (Yes! I ended up using different flower buttons than I originally intended to use!)

7. Gift wrap the apron with a new pair of garden gloves and a few seed packets for a lovely gift!

You can find a large selection of Joy® embroidered iron-on letters and alphabet sheets in different sizes and colors at your local craft stores!
