Fabric grab bags

Making fabric grab bags for party favors is really quick and easy. Just fold and press a rectangle of fabric in half. Run a basting stitch up each side with a needle and contrasting thread. I tucked the bottom corners in to create a gusset, but you can also leave the corners flat.

Position your Joy iron-on embroidered letters near the fold at the bottom of the bag and press them into place with a hot iron per the package directions. If you don't like the raw edges of the bag, cut your fabric with a pinking blade first.

This bag took less than ten minutes to make - fill it up with party favors, tie a little bow...then make some more!

JOY iron-on embroidered letters can be found at your local craft stores in a variety of sizes, colors and fonts.
